Pirelli Real Estate, the leading Italian real estate operator, suffered from muddled communications with its shareholders due to a lack of investor relations tools in the Italian market and wanted to improve communications with its shareholders, including retail. They came to Publicis Consultants | Rowland to help illustrate a complex business model and to support share-price evolution vis-à-vis their retail target.
+ Strategic Idea
Publicis Consultants | Rowland understood that there was welcome room for innovative, educational tools for retail investors as in other international markets. The big idea was to fill an empty space regarding retail financial communication, and help investors understand and relate to one of the industry's most profitable companies.
+ Implementation
The office in Italy published a guide to be distributed to retail investors, the first of its kind created in Italy. To mark the occasion, Publicis Consultants | Rowland launched the publication with a press conference for the Italian Stock Exchange.
+ Results
Fifty-thousand copies of La Guida all'azionista ("Pirelli real estate shareholder guide") were distributed to current and potential investors and posted on the company web site - which today represents a benchmark for Italian-listed companies willing to communicate to retail investors.
